John Howell's Class

the place for information

As most will know I am in Iraq but because of the unit that I am in I only come over here for 2-3 months at a time. Granted that is a good thing but I have been doing this since September 11 2001. Right now the temperature here is tremendous. Today the thermometer read 130 degrees F. Pretty hot. My days stay pretty busy but I like the idea of sharing with the class when I can. I should be home first week in August so I still have a few months to boat :)

Chip, we miss you man. Hope all is well with you over there. Dont worry youll still have plenty of boating time when you get back. Maybe you could "borrow" a boat over there and go out on the Tigris or the Euphrates. That would be awesome!! Take care of yourself buddy. See you in a few weeks!

Thanks guys. The website is great, little touch of home. I have seen the rivers here and it is safe to say that Iraq has no EPA and I am not sticking any part of my body in there :)

my guess was that Sadam did not spend a lot of time on health safety....he was to busy trying to figure out how to take over the world. Glad you like the site and hope you have a great day.

Hmmm...the junk in the water could make it easier to stay up once you got up. Just a thought.
